Since 2007, he has been on the board of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raum4.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">raum<\/a><a><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.raum4.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> \u2013 netzwerk f\u00fcr k\u00fcnstlerische alltagsbew\u00e4ltigung<\/a> e. v., and since 2009, of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drama-panorama.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drama Panorama: Forum for Translation and Theater e. V.<\/a>, an international platform for theater translators. He is a member of the ver.di union, of the German Translators Association (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bdue.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BD\u00dc<\/a>), of the Association of German Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.literaturuebersetzer.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vd\u00dc<\/a>), of the <a href=\"https:\/\/weltlesebuehne.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Weltleseb\u00fchne<\/a>, of the theatre writers union <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vthea.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VTheA<\/a>, and of <a href=\"http:\/\/the-fence.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Fence<\/a>. From 2014-2019, he was a member of the German committee of the European network for drama in translation <a href=\"https:\/\/eurodram.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eurodram<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2025, Henning Bochert was dramaturg and, for Drama Panorama, production partner in the international, multilingual production <em><a href=\"https:\/\/performeurope.eu\/project\/honey-%d8%b4%d9%85%d8%b3-et-de-lor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Honig, \u0634\u0645\u0633 &amp; de l\u2019Or<\/a><\/em> by<a href=\"https:\/\/artveda.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Art Veda<\/a> in Berlin, Paris and Br\u00fcssel.Together with Barbora Schnelle, he has been directing Drama Panorama&#8217;s <em>New Czech Theatre Festival<\/em> since 2014. In 2023, he was co-curator of the literary translation festival <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.translationale-berlin.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">translationale berlin 2023<\/a><\/em>. In 2022, he committed more to teaching and has since taught at the UNC in Chapel Hill, the Humboldt University in Berlin, the Heinrich Heine University D\u00fcsseldorf and the Ruhr University Bochum. He was also part of the team of the podcast <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wirsindklasse.com\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.wirsindklasse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Wir sind klasse!<\/em> <\/a>on classism. In 2021, he collaborated for the second time with Slovak choreographer Alica Minar as a writer and dramaturg in her production <a href=\"https:\/\/alicaminar.com\/portfolio\/permeance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Permeance<\/em><\/a>, an international coproduction with raum<a><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">4<\/span><\/a>-netzwerk f\u00fcr k\u00fcnstlerische alltagsbew\u00e4ltigung e. v. after having written text for her master degree production <em><a href=\"https:\/\/alicaminar.com\/portfolio\/explosion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Explosion<\/a> <\/em>in 2020 already. In February 2017, the Anima Collective used his text <em>VIKTORS VISIONEN<\/em> in their production <a href=\"https:\/\/animaberlin.com\/portfolio\/anima\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/animaberlin.com\/portfolio\/anima\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>ANIMA-Vom Beseelen der Dinge<\/em><\/a>. In 2012, he hosted the seminar <em>Translating for Theater &#8211; LIVE! <\/em>of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uebersetzerfonds.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deutscher \u00dcbersetzerfonds<\/a> (German Translators Fund, D\u00dcF) in the <a href=\"http:\/\/pazzfestival.de\/gettingacrozz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GETTING ACROZZ<\/a> programme at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pazzfestival.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PAZZ festival<\/a> in Oldenburg. In 2010, he was a dramaturg in the Russian-German coproduction<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/raum4.org\/?page_id=249\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SumSum<span style=\"font-size: 9px;\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/span> \u2013 eine grenzenlose Liebes- und Sprachverwirrung<\/a><\/em>, (a coproduction of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theater-erlangen.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Theater Erlangen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/teatr-pokoleniy.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/teatr-pokoleniy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teatr Pokoleniy<\/a>, funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bundeskulturstiftung.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">German Cultural Foundation<\/a>\/fund &#8220;Wanderlust&#8221;), conceived by Eberhard K\u00f6hler and himself. He also shared the artistic direction of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.www.raum4.org\/phoenix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">phoenix transatlantic<\/a><\/em> with Christine Richter-Nilsson (two festival days with new plays from North Rhine-Westphalia and New York City; 2010). He acted as mentor for a dramatic literature translation contest at Theater Bielefeld (funded by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bpb.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bundeszentrale f\u00fcr politische Bildung<\/a>). In 2008, he realized the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/raum4.org\/?page_id=380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Werkschau Wuppertal<\/a><\/em> for the Representation of North Rhine-Westphalia, an evening with 15 Wuppertal artists from different genres. With Rotolux\/Nora Somaini, he created the play <em>credits<\/em> as a playwright and presented it in 2006 in the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sophiensaele.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sophiens\u00e6le<\/a> Berlin. In 2002, he taught acting at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.udk-berlin.de\/sites\/schauspiel\/content\/index_ger.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste<\/a> Berlin (University of Arts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2020-2023 he is mentor in the BD\u00dc&#8217;s mentoring program for starting professional translators.
