Bochert<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>During a trip across the United States in September 2018, I had the opportunity to get to know <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newdramatists.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"New Dramatists (opens in a new tab)\">New Dramatists<\/a>, a New York institution for playwrights. The artistic director Emily Morse devoted her time to me quite generously to tell me about the building and its history as well as about the structure of her work.
