With public presentations<\/a> in the garden of Studio Alta in Prague, Permeance<\/a> <\/em>by Alica Minar raises first attention. Even with first results, the choreographer sends the dancers in exterme situations: Hanging from trees, in strong interaction with the audience, in skin contact with public walkways, lawns, literally the soil, the production explores the possibilities ot approach the eco-aquatic subject. How do we experience water? How did we experience it? What is the element’s role in our connection with nature? How does it define us physically? Led by the sounds by Etienne Haan, the audience in charged spaces under the surface of the earth, of the water, in high pressure areas. Truly admirable is the performers’ willingness to intensely expose themselves continuously between direct conversation with the audience and – as plant parts, as moisture of the soil – highly artificial excursions into the arabesques of the water cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coming presentations during the Bazaar Festival<\/a> and finally the premiere at Studio Alta<\/a> in Prague and at the Uferstudios in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
