Editor and translator Barbora Schnelle and publisher Matthias Naumann present the newly published anthology <em>Am Wannenrand<\/em>, which features nine contemporary Czech plays (in German translation). At the same time, J\u00fcrgen Popig, co-director of the Heidelberg St\u00fcckemarkt, offers an insight into the programme for the next festival, at which the Czech Republic is the guest country. Featuring short readings, performed by actors from the Heidelberg Theatre &amp; Orchestra, taken from the plays <em>Trollmama<\/em> by Hana D. Lehe\u010dkov\u00e1, which explores today\u2019s Internet culture; <em>Spottschau<\/em> by Tom\u00e1\u0161 Diani\u0161ka, about the trans man and sportsperson Zden\u011bk Koubek, who set many world records as a female athlete during the interwar period; and <em>Ausgewohnt<\/em> by Tom\u00e1\u0161 R\u00e1li\u0161, which addresses the current housing crisis. The playwrights will be present. This event is organised by Drama Panorama e.
