Wikipedia informs, that she was suffering from hepatitis-induced depressions during her last years and took her own life cutting her wrists in 1971. With her images of peripheral figures (showpeople, midgets\/giants, transvestites, handicapped) next to pictures of passersby and people in parks, she challenges the boundaries of normality and society&#8217;s esthetics without prejudice&#8221; (German Wikipedia). I agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/henningbochert.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/arbus.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/henningbochert.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/arbus-300x173.jpg\" alt=\"Arubs-Ausstellung\" class=\"wp-image-1965\" title=\"arbus\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the museum shop, great idea for a photo gallery: wire cable, hook, weight, magnets.
