Staged readings of Eurodram’s 2015 selection<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

On 31 May, Eurodram, the European network for drama in translation, was able to present its selection<\/a> of plays in German translation at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. I would like to thank the theater again; we are particularly ingratiated to the members of the German language committee, Stefanie Gottfried, Inka Neubert, and Sandra Sch\u00fcddekopf. I reported about the event here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this success there is now an opportunity to witness a new presentation of the selection at Vienna’s Theater Drachengasse<\/a>. While we were very happy to be able to welcome playwright Maria Tryti Venner\u00f8d (THE EXAMINATION) in Mannheim, whom we will see again in Vienna together with her translator Nelly Winterhalder. We also expect to see playwright Ma\u0142gorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk and Andreas Volk, translator of her play THE SUITCASE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our thanks go to: Katrin Schurich and the Theater Drachengasse, Sandra Sch\u00fcddekopf and Milena Michalek for staging the readings, the actors Alexander Braunsh\u00f6r, Barbara Gassner, Lisa Schrammel, Thomas Stolzeti as well as acting students of the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversit\u00e4t (Vienna Conservatory Private University): Teresa Maria Hager, S\u00f6ren Kneidl, Felix Kreuzer, Eleni Stampfer, and Constanze Winkler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
