DIE MASCHINE IN MIR (VERSION 1.0)

Quite spontaneously, the Burgtheater in Vienna decide to produce a show for New Year’s Eve: Michael Maertens will play a monologue by Irish company Dead Centre and Mark O’Connell (original title: To Be A Machine). Everything is Corona, everything is digital.

The text deals with transhumanism, with humans and machines and how both merge, and with our old desire to defeat death.
