In the current issue of the digital magazine for plays in translation, The Mercurian, Özlem Dündar’s an grenzen is published in my English translation, titled body w/o borders. In the introduction, I look at the translational challenges and the cultural transfer.

I am very happy and thankful that the magazine – two years after the first staged reading of the translation in The Process Series at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, directed by Joseph Megel – includes the translation of the highly poetic text about xenophobic violence in Germany in its fall issue 2025.
