Interview on Plateforme

Great thanks to Plateforme – the “archive and magazine for theatre translation from French” as part of the festival Primeurs Plus – for the invitation and opportunity to discuss theatre translation with Frank Weigand for the website’s digital magazine.

The Plateforme project, funded by Neustart Kultur, ambitiously aims at “bringing the work of several generations of translators invisible to date out from behind the curtain, promoting connections and exchange.” The magazine will publish “current contributions that highlight theatre translation from various perspectives – from interviews to translation critique.”
